This year we want to invite you & your family to gather on our family farm. Beginning on April 18, 2025, Enjoy the beautiful weather & soak in the amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Use our spacious outdoor seating & picnic tables. Stop by & grab lunch at Big Dan's BBQ (see open hours); no need to rush. Sit and enjoy, let the kids play in our Kids Garden and get some much needed R&R!

TODDLER TIME @ THE FARM
Every Friday beginning April 18th / 10 am - 12 pm Bring your little ones to the farm for Toddler Time, a fun and engaging experience designed for Pre-K ages! Each week features exciting new stories, educational crafts to boost fine motor skills, music & movement to shake out those sillies! Toddler Time is located in the Barn Loft. The cost is $1 per toddler. Adult supervision is required. No registration needed—just drop in and join the fun! |
OPENING WEEKEND
Friday, April 18th & Saturday, April 19th 10 am - 7 pm After a much needed season of rest and preparation, we're back and we missed you! Our Farm Market, Bakery, Gift Shop, Big Dan's BBQ and Freas Farm Winery will all be open. The Village Donut & Sister Brewed Coffee Co. will be on-site on Saturday beginning at 9 am. |
FREE OUTDOOR CONCERT: PHIL REEDER
Friday, April 25th / 5 - 7 pm Join us in the Yard as we launch our Free Spring Concert Series! Enjoy an evening of live music with Phil Reeder, who will be performing a mix of classics—from rock 'n' roll and country to rock and pop—right here on the Farm. Grab some dinner from Big Dan’s BBQ, then head over to Freas Farm Winery for PA Preferred wines, hard cider, refreshing slushies, or locally crafted beer on tap—all perfect for sipping while you enjoy the concert. We have plenty of seating, but feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket. |
PLANT & TAKE: DAY NEUTRAL STRAWBERRIES
Saturday, April 26th / 10 am & 11 am Our Orchard Manager Adam Orlando will share an overview of different types of strawberries with an emphasis on Day Neutral Strawberries. You will plant & take home a strawberry planter full of day neutral strawberry plants. You will learn how to care for them to foster growth all through the summer. The cost for one planter is $17, add a second planter for only $5! This class is for participants 18 years of age and older and will be approximately 30 minutes from start to finish. KIDS PLANT & TAKE: STRAWBERRIES!
Saturday, April 26th / 12:30 & 1:30 pm FREE for the first 30 registrations! Kids ages 8-15 can join Adam and Denise for a Day Neutral Strawberry workshop!! Students will plant bare root strawberries and learn how to nurture them for summer growth. Students will also learn what to do with their plants for the winter months. Participants will be asked to check in over the summer with progress reports. We kindly request you register one child per household only, two siblings are welcome to attend the class together. This event is made possible at no cost to participants, thanks to the generous support of Nourse Farms and Seeds of the Future. Sign up for either the 12:30 or 1:30 pm workshop. |

Sunday, April 27th / 1 - 3 pm You're invited to an inspiring afternoon of fellowship, tea and delicious food in the cozy loft at Rohrbach's, catered by "Catering for You." Enjoy a special presentation by Denise Bosworth, owner of Rohrbach's, as she shares the mission and impact of the non-profit Seeds of the Future. Discover how this organization is advancing agriculture education, advocacy, and community connections. A portion of the proceeds from this event will support Seeds of the Future. GROWN UP & ME MOTHERS DAY
COOKIE DECORATING CLASS Saturday, May 10th / 3 - 5 pm Kids, bring a grown-up and create something special together. In this hands-on class, you'll decorate a 7" cookie wreath plus six individual cookies that are arranged on top. All supplies are provided, along with expert instruction from Debbie Semmel of Cecco’s Cookies. Each registered pair will decorate and take home one cookie wreath. Space is limited, so don’t wait to reserve your spot! Each registration is for one child and one grown-up only.
