Educational Fall farm tours
We are here to provide an amazing farm experience at Rohrbach's! You can put together the best experience that works for your group & your budget!
Here is what we offer:
|
SCHOOL TOURS: these tours provide visual education that takes place mainly outside. There are two main aspects to the school tours. First, we give an overview of what grows in the Fall, including squash, pumpkins & gourds. Second, we show the students how apples grow and some of their unique qualities. Throughout the Tour, there will be an emphasis on eating nutritious food and how we take care of the soil and the environment on our farm. The tour is adapted to age-appropriate learning.
HAYRIDES: our hayrides accommodate up to 35 guests. We also offer a wheelchair accessible hayride that accommodates 3 wheelchairs and up to 8 additional passengers. (*please note that if there is any rain, even minimal, the wheelchair hayride is not able to run).
PICK-YOUR-OWN-PUMPKIN: We will set up a pumpkin-picking area for your group!
PLAYLAND: your group will have exclusive use of our Playland for approximately one hour. This includes our giant slides, the corn pit, and many more hands-on play and activities.
APPLE SLINGSHOT: Put on safety goggles and see how far you can launch an apple! This activity is suggested for children 8 & up and requires one-on-one teacher supervision.
APPLES & CIDER: we would be happy to provide fresh apples & fresh apple cider for your group to enjoy on-site or to take back to your classroom.
CORN MAZE: older groups enjoy the challenge of the maze!
