We are a family owned and operated farm for over 65 years. Our operation encompasses approximately ten acres and includes fruit trees, strawberries, raspberries and pumpkins. The majority of our farm production is for the purpose of pick your own and direct community consumption. We have a strong emphasis on engaging our community in understanding farm life, food source and care of our land and environment through our practices.

Responsibilities
- Working alongside the owner, oversee the farm operation from planning field crops to harvest including chemical applications.
- Communicate with farm owner and store manager current farm operations activities to provide a successful marketing and educational approach to our consumers.
- Oversee farming operations including fruit trees, strawberries, fall crops including pumpkins, sunflowers and a corn maze.
- Supervise youth employees in assisting with job roles.
- Maintain general farm tidiness, clean up and field care (including mowing orchards); place and operate trickle irrigation lines for strawberries and fruit trees.
- Oversee and assist with all harvests.
- Coordinate with farm owner for wholesale purchases and weekly inventory of fall décor; assist with preparation for fall events; potentially drive tractor for hayrides.
- In the winter season work on farm equipment maintenance and upkeep; attending trainings and workshops; assist with farm market projects; plan and prepare for the year.
Requirements
- Essential knowledge of farm equipment including tractors and tractor and equipment safety.
- Ability to keep required records.
- Strong communication skills with peers, other farm staff and when interacting with the public.
- Willingness to learn constantly changing laws and regulations related to the farming operation.
- Professional level of leadership, appearance and behavior.
